Texas Cowboys and Cattle Ranching Bundle

Texas History students will learn about, or review, cowboys, cattle ranching, and cotton farming in Texas with this PowerPoint (or gallery walk). A note guide is included with review questions, cloze passages, and creative tasks. There is also a primary source analysis, trading card and cube project, true/false/fix, "I Have Who Has," and a test. Topics covered include but are not limited to cattle drives, ranchers, barbed wire, railroads, Richard King, Jesse Chisholm, cattle branding, challenges to this lifestyle in the mid to late 1800s, and more! Teacher information pages, templates, and the answers are included where appropriate.
