Texas History Bell Ringers or Cumulative Review Game Regions to Annexation

Students will review what they learned in the first half of Texas History with the critical thinking game, "what doesn't belong and why?" Each unit has 5-10 sets of terms or phrases (people, events, laws, documents, locations, etc) for students to complete two tasks with.

This is organized by unit so it would be great for warm ups, bell ringers, do nows, unit reviews, exit tickets, brain breaks, or as an end of semester/end of year review. You could even use this as part of your STAAR review!

--Exploration and Missions
--Mexican Era and Colonization
--Revolution
--Republic
--Annexation and Mexican-American War
