This resource will get your US History class thinking about history day-by-day as they begin each class exploring a different idea in their bell ringer. Each slide features an event that happened on that day in history with a prompt that includes some background information, an image or video, and a question.

Use this set of warm ups throughout the month of September - there is a different prompt for each day! This month, the "Today in History" events span from 1608 to 2020 with topics including government, inventions, sports, music, war, and much more.

This resource downloads in the form of a PDF, and the last page includes a link to access a Google Slides version, which you may also download into Powerpoint. You choose the format that works best for you!
