Description

Unit Overview pages were designed to give both teachers and students a visual and a written way to know what to expect in the upcoming unit. This page was also created to make sure that a focus was maintained throughout the unit on key people, key events (documents, battles, places, court cases, amendments, etc.), and key vocabulary terms.

This Unit Overview page has been designed to also serve as educational dividers between units for Interactive Notebooks/Binders and for other ways that teachers organize their classroom units. I like to use it for student accountability as well as we go throughout the unit. Once students have learned it, then they can check it off. It’s worked really well as students ask to cover something again before we continue a unit OR before they are assessed. It has also been designed to provide visuals pertaining to the United States history units.
