Description

Zap! is a fun and exciting way to have your students practicing their letter recognition skills! You can use Zap in a center, partnership, or in a table group!

There are two ways to play this game:

Option 1: Lay all of the cards face down on the table. Take turns flipping over the a card and reading the letter. If you read the letter correctly you may keep the card. If you read it incorrectly you must flip it back over. If a player flips over a Zap! card, that player must get rid of all of their cards. The player with the most cards in the end wins!

Option 2: This option is similar to SlapJack. Shuffle and pass out all cards evenly. Players will take turns flipping the card over on the top of their deck. Players must flip the card away from them so they cannot see the card beforehand. Once flipped the player must read the letter on the card. When a player flips over a Zap! card the first person to "slap/zap" the card keeps the deck. The player with the most cards in the end wins.

Please laminate the cards for best long term use!
