Advanced Expressions Competition Race to Review

One of the favorite activities in my classroom! Students will be engaged and excited in this Advanced Expressions competition. Students will work together in teams to finish 15 Advanced Algebraic Expressions Task Cards. This competition is for students who have mastered expressions and need more of a challenge! Questions become increasingly more difficult as they move through the deck. Runners from each group will bring their answers to you. If incorrect, they will run back to the group to try again. If the answer is correct, they are given the next card in the sequence. Extra cards are provided for teachers to add their own questions.

 Great activity for a teacher observation.

 *Fractions in expressions

 *Decimals in expressions

 *Exponents in expressions

 *Negative symbols outside the parentheses

 *Converting Fractions to Decimals in expressions
