Description
One of the favorite activities in my classroom! Students will be engaged and excited in this Systems of Equations Competition. Students will work together in teams to finish 15 Systems of Equations Task Cards. Questions become increasingly more difficult as they move through the deck. A great review of graphing, elimination, and substitution in finding the ordered pair solution. Students must also graph a system of equations with no solution and infinite solutions. Runners from each group will bring their answers to you. If incorrect, they will run back to the group to try again. If the answer is correct, they are given the next card in the sequence. Extra cards are provided for teachers to add their own questions.
Printable Graphs are included.
Great activity for a teacher observation.
