I was disappointed with the lack of quality materials reviewing Chain of Infection, so I created this packet to help my students have a deeper understanding of all the links in the chain. Download includes:

"Chain of Infection" worksheet- students will match the links with descriptions and then draw lines from examples to the chain they belong to.

"The Story of Ebola" worksheet- students will read a narrative on the Ebola epidemic and then located the 6 chains of infection in the story. A small section on Small Pox is also included.

"Break the Chain" worksheet- students will have a list of ways to break the chain of infection and then locate their answer in 6 mini word search puzzles.

"You are the Weakest Link"- students will have 7 examples of ways the chain can be broken and will then place an "X" on the place where it occurred.

This set is nicely organized and well thought out. I really enjoyed the ways to break the chain worksheet and the case studies are helpful for students to learn how to actually APPLY the chain of infection.
