Nothing brings out engagement like some friendly competition, right?
This activity presents 20 patients with basic symptoms that match popular diseases/conditions. Working in pairs/teams, students will match the patient with their diagnosis (on printable cards). Then, they can place their answers in a google spreadsheet and find out how many they got correct! First team at 100% wins!
This game is great for teaching pathophysiology, medical terminology, communications and anatomy/physiology.

My students loved matching up each diagnosis. It was a good level for my Grade 10s. They knew a few right away and used research and deductive logic to figure out the rest.
