Designed with middle school and high school students in mind, this activity goes beyond the traditional back to school activities that ask students to list their favourite things. Older students are encouraged to reflect while respond to interesting questions:

The simple yet artistic design is visually appealing without detracting from the content that students write. The template is provided in both colour and black and white for easy printing.

 To display their completed pennants, students trim along the dotted edges, and hang them using clothes pins and string, or attach them to a bulletin board.
