Iran Hostage Crisis Lesson
This is approximately a 45-60 minute lesson plan focusing on the Iran Hostage Crisis. By reinforcing (or introducing) Cornell notes, students will be able to work on gathering research about this important part of history. The bulk of this lesson discusses the following questions: (1) Which events led up the Iran Hostage Crisis?
(2) What was President Carter’s response to the Iran Hostage Crisis?
(3) How did the Iran Hostage Crisis end?
An added bonus to this lesson includes extensions and project ideas that can easily be used in any classroom to meet the needs of any struggling or advanced student.
