Students will learn about the rise and fall, key people, events, and more from the Akkadian, Hittite, Assyrian, and Phoenician Empires (empires of Mesopotamia, Mesopotamia's early empires). There are 4 texts to read, each with a graphic organizer, cloze passage, and review questions. Students will then complete true/false/fix, answer 2 questions, create a timeline, complete a map with 15 labels/tasks, and design stamps of achievement/commemoration. A teacher information page and the answers are included where appropriate. Depending on your students this can be a learning packet, stations, or a jigsaw.
