Physiology of a Muscle Stimulation Card Sort Sequence Activity

This one-page activity features a large nine – square bold-edged grid. Each square contains an integral step associated with the physiological activation of a muscle. The students will cut out the nine squares of information and then sort them on a desktop or table to map out the correct physiological pathway. The process begins when a nerve signal reaches the end of a motor neuron. It ends when a muscle cell contracts.
