Description
Students will get an overview of different Holocaust resistance movements and rescue efforts with these 5 activities. They will first complete a webquest on Sophie Scholl and the White Rose movement (17 questions) and a webquest on Jewish led resistance efforts (8 questions). Students will then visit 3 websites to learn about Chiune Sugihara and complete an activity to show why he is considered Righteous Among the Nations. Next, students will create a one pager to highlight 5 other rescuers or rescue attempts. Lastly, they will read a 2 page overview of non-Jewish resistance efforts and complete a word cloud activity based on it. All instructions, websites, examples, and answers are provided where appropriate. If your students have access to the internet this could work for a sub!
