Description
Students will use what they have learned in class to re-teach important concepts to each other. This requires students to use writing, listening, speaking, and reading to effectively review the content that has been taught. It is a great way to assess and to facilitate what students have learned and to also encourage peer accountability. While this formative assessment encourages and works well for all students, it definitely helps ELL students. Peer to peer discussion in the classroom is very important as kids have a way of speaking knowledge to each other in ways that remain memorable.
