Description
Welcome! I created this learning opportunity for students in my human anatomy & physiology Course. In this lesson, students will match the muscles from a word bank next to their provided functions in the first table. In the second table, students will perform the reverse task of writing the functions next to the appropriate muscle.
The tables offer reinforcement for the following muscles: Abdominal, Adductor (inner thigh), Biceps brachii, Buccinator, Deltoid, Extensors (Carpi & digitorium groups), External oblique, Flexors (Carpi & digitorium groups) Frontalis, Gastrocnemius, Gluteus maximus, Hamstring, Ilipsoas, Internal intercostal, Latissimus dorsi, Masseter, Oblique, Orbicularis oculi, Orbicularis oris, Pectoralis major, Peroneus longus, Quadriceps femoris, Rectus abdominus, Rotator cuff, Sartorius, Serratus anterior, Sternocleidomastoid, Temporalis, Tibialis anterior, Trapezius, Triceps brachii, Vertebral, and Zygomaticus muscles.
This activity set spans two class periods. Each full-page activity comes with a colored answer key. A full-page function word bank accompanies the Skeletal Muscle Function Table. The function bank is divided into the following sections.
-
Muscles of the head
-
Muscles of the neck
-
