Needing extra practice with slopes and slope-intercept form? This activity allows students to create their own slopes, extract and compare data, and then design a work of art! Students will be using their work to strengthen their understanding of parallel, perpendicular, and unrelated slopes and will also be given opportunities to write equations from lines.
Also included are two extension ideas which allow display of student work, small and large group discussions, and student-directed exploration. This is perfect for Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry and can work as a one-day practice, a block lesson, or even a multiple day exploration. Not to mention, a great art integration activity! Just print and go!
