Introduction from the first page of the break out:

"Agents,

You have been chosen by the Department of Timeline Security to help the governor save Texas History. Someone has built a time machine that has been used to try and destroy out past. Our past is what defines us as Texans. This crisis must be dealt with! We have been able to secure this time machine safely away behind a series of locks. The first one that can get through these locks, will be able to make sure that this time machine, that is being used as a weapon, does not get into the wrong hands.

We’ve sent a series of puzzles you will need to solve to open those locks, get the weapon and save our future. The puzzles are all built around Texas Exploration. . By solving them you will prove to us that you understand how Texas was explored and what impact the early explorers had on the future of Texas. This will prove that you can be trusted to do the right thing with this time machine.

Good Luck,

The Department of Timeline Security"
