The Early People of Texas Bundle

Texas History students will learn about the early inhabitants of Texas with a brief PowerPoint, a stations activity, true/false/fix, and "I Have, Who Has." The powerpoint is 10 slides and has a graphic organizer with 3 questions to introduce the Caddo, Karankawa, Coahuiltecan, and Atakapa tribes. The stations activity introduces the Plains and Puebloan tribes (the Jornada, Tiguia, Jumano, Tonkawa, Apache, Comanche, and Kiowa) with 3 brief readings and 22 questions. To go with those 3 stations there are 7 images which can be used as a 4th station (ideas for implementation included). Lastly, students will complete a small map. Teacher information and the answers are included where appropriate.
