Description
Texas History students will learn about some of Texas' Native American tribes with a 10 slide presentation, graphic organizer, and stations activity. The presentation has discussion questions and introduces the Caddo, Karankawa, Coahuiltecan, and Atakapa. The graphic organizer accompanies the PowerPoint and has 3 questions.
The stations activity introduces the Plains and Puebloan tribes (Jornada, Tigua, Jumano, Tonkawa, Apache, Comanche, and Kiowa) with 3 brief readings and 22 questions. There is also a map activity and 7 images to work with (suggestions ideas for implementation are included).
The presentation is included as a PowerPoint and PDF for your convenience. A teacher information page and the answers are included where appropriate.
