Suggested Pacing (50-minute-1 hour classes)

Day 1- Introduce era, unit overview and vocabulary terms (slides 1-34 and vocabulary charts with large Texas map)
Day 2- Mountains and Basins (slides 35-67 with notes, and one of the Mountain and Basins activities or a writing prompt)
Day 3- Great Plains (slides 68-104 with notes, and one of the Great Plains activities or a writing prompt)
Day 4- North Central Plains (slides 105-141 with notes, and one of the North Central Plains activities or a writing prompt)
Day 5- Coastal Plains (slides 142-179 with notes, and one of the Coastal Plains activities or a writing prompt)
Day 6-7 Either the Texas Regions Rock Band T-Shirt Project or The Regions Compare/Contrast Project
