The Twelve Days of Christmas is a humorous play in which Maria, the recipient of daily gifts from her true love Jonathan, writes a thank you note for each new gift. However, their love is truly tested as the gifts keep arriving. Although his intentions may have been good, his choice of gifts was not. The humor builds with each new day to the point where Jonathan would have been much better off to have not sent gifts at all. The run time for this skit is about 10 minutes.
The script for this play has one reader, Maria. In addition, singers share excerpts from the traditional Christmas classic, The Twelve Days of Christmas, between each response from Maria. An audio accompaniment link for each verse of the song is included.
