U.S. Olympic Stars Close Reading Activity Bundle | 5th Grade & 6th Grade

A close reading activity bundle with five activities about some American stars from Olympic history: Jesse Owens, Wilma Rudolph, Simone Biles, Muhammed Ali & Michael Phelps. The activities, which each have an informational text with comprehension and grammar questions followed by an extension task, are about the following Olympians:

The NO PREP informational text activities are perfect for students in fifth grade or sixth grade studying about the Olympic Games. Students will learn about the famous Olympians whilst developing their comprehension skills.

• A comprehension activity with eight questions
• Two grammar questions about the text
• An extension writing activity
• An answer sheet for self-assessment or teacher use
