Complete PowerPoint for this STEM project about understanding cells.
Students will be introduced to the different types of cells and their parts, play a game to review the cell parts, then be introduced to their Understanding Cells project.
The project involves students creating a 3-D model of either a plant or animal cell, as well as making an analogy for their cell.
This project allows students to show their creativity, and knowledge of cell parts, but most importantly, they will be demonstrating higher level thinking by creating their cell analogy.
Also includes rubric for grading both analogy and 3-D cell model.
