Description
Valentine's Day Math - a digital picture covered with hearts - Equivalent Expressions - Distributive Property & Combining Like Terms, EDITABLE in Google Sheets.
It is a perfect fun Valentine’s Day activity to practice identifying equivalent expressions.
There are 15 different expressions to simplify using the distributive property and combining like terms.
You can only edit expressions in the table. Expressions in hearts (answers) are not editable.
This game doesn't work in Excel, only in Google Sheets.
This is a self-checking activity.
Choose the correct equivalent expression from hearts and type it in the answer column.
The correct answer will remove the heart with this expression to uncover a picture.
If the answer is incorrect, the answer will turn red.
Look at the preview to check how it works.
The answer key and the instructions on how to change the tasks are included.
*Remember to change the formatting to your country to avoid problems with ‘comma’ or ‘dot’. You can change it by clicking - File - Spreadsheet settings and use your country. :)
