Description
A fun and engaging way to present this unit is to divide the class into three teams. (Greed, Fear and Pride)
Together we discuss the terms: Greed, Fear and Pride. We brainstorm how countries might be motivated by these broad terms.
If a country wants to expand their trading market is it because of GREED? If they want to create a bigger empire is it PRIDE? If a warring country wants to invade is it FEAR?
This can work as independent work, group and / or whole class. This can work into broader analytical content
