Teaching Body Movement Terminology can be frustrating as a teacher. Simply providing a definition for a term that describes motion is simply inadequate. Although demonstration is vital, my students needed a visual representation to take with them and utilize. After searching for a suitable resource, my pursuit led to a dead end. I took matters into my own hands and personally illustrated all of the 23 major anatomical body movements. This could ease my fears of copyright infringement as well as allowing my students to have pictures to represent the movements.

Included in this packet is a worksheet with the pictures numbered and carefully labeled with a teacher's answer guide. Use the hand-out as a worksheet, homework page or even a formative assessment. Also attached are printable flashcards that can either be printed on printable business cards or on card stock and cut out.
