Perfect Math & Art after winter break activity (printable, digital, editable). Snowflake - Area of Complex Shapes with or without Circles.
There are 2 levels to choose from, making this a perfect differentiated winter activity.
Level 1 - without circles.
Level 2 - with circles.
Students have to find the area of the composite shape (snowflake).
The snowflake is composed of five or six simple figures, as indicated by numbers:
1 and 2 - trapezoids,
3 - rectangle,
4 - triangle,
5 - rhombus.
6 - circle (only level 2).
