Description
Welcome! This activity is designed for a unit on blood and/or the circulatory system in a human anatomy and physiology course. This one-page table provides students with the opportunity to reinforce what action the body takes in the blood to address physiological imbalances, chronic issues, acute issues, death of a cell, pathogenic invasions, and injury to a blood vessel, etc.
Students identify the cell or hormone activated to address the problem presented in the occurrence column. Then the students write what action the cell takes in response. Students will troubleshoot fourteen physiological issues. I typed out a word bank and a function bank for each respective column.
This PDF file will become editable upon conversion to Microsoft Word using an Adobe Acrobat Reader program.
I included a one-page key with the answers in bold blue font.
