Need a creative way to introduce South America to your students? Tired of the same old intro procedures? Here is a great way to not only introduce South America to students, but encourages the use of map skills such as a compass rose, map scale, etc.
Students will explore South America by taking a trip through South America visiting 5 main cities and major landforms along the way. Students will exhibit the ability to identify regions as well as South American exports. This takes learning to a whole new level with higher-level thinking skills.
Take your students on the experience of a lifetime. Give them autonomy within their learning experience. Help them explore!
This lesson can be modified by the instruction to meet a wide-range of learning abilities.
