Description

I'm Green; You're Blue--Equal Protection and the 14th Amendment

A lesson on the Fourteenth Amendment’s (14th) Equal Protection Clause.
Provides a forum to discuss and/or debate the history of discrimination in a non-threatening way (on Mars).
This project looks at discrimination in two ways: the minority population oppressing majority (e.g. Rwanda) and the majority population oppressing the minority (e.g. the US).

Through writing bills, your class can come up with ways to remedy those issues and in the future, treat people in a non-discriminatory way.
