Description
Welcome! In this two-page activity, anatomy and physiology students identify the cell(s) of the central and peripheral nervous system that match the numbered function, shape, or location. If the description fits the role of all three neurons, then students write “all three neurons.”
Students classify the following cells: sensory neurons, integrative neurons, motor neurons, Schwann cells, oligodendrocytes, astrocytes, microglia, satellite cells, and ependymal cells. There are thirty-two classification problems. I provided a two-column cell word bank on the upper portion of the front page to assist students with spelling. I also included a two-page key with the answers in colored font.
This PDF file will become editable upon conversion to Microsoft Word using an Adobe Acrobat Reader program.
