Description
Outlining is a practical skill for learning when students unscramble the parts to create the whole. Creating an outline from a pile of rubble-like statements requires both analogical and analytical thinking skills. Students must pay attention to the details and organize them under the more prominent headers. I created this activity for students taking Human Anatomy and Physiology.
The final product is an indented outline of the nervous system. The outline features the divisions, components, and the function of the organs, organ lobes or regions, and nerve pairs. This assignment also covers the three meningeal layers and the location of the cerebral spinal fluid. Upon completion, students can use the answer key as a template for review.
This lesson comes with an answer key. This PDF will become editable upon conversion to Microsoft Word using an Adobe Acrobat Reader DC app.
