Description

In this four-page student activity series for human anatomy and physiology, the students' quest is to complete five different themed tables about the nervous system - action potential, regions of the brain, divisions of the nervous system, functions of the nervous system, and nerve cell classification. I provided a word/function bank for each table. I included four pages of keys with the answers in bold, red font. This activity set makes for great holistic study guides!

Key vocabulary terms covered include: Polarization, depolarization, repolarization, K+, Na+, frontal lobe, cerebrum, thalamus, temporal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe, hypothalamus, midbrain, pons, medulla, cerebellum, brain stem, diencephalon, cerebrum, neuron, neuroglia, sensory neuron, motor neuron, integrative neuron, central (division), peripheral (division), astrocyte, ependymal cell, microglia, oligodendrocyte, and Schwann cells.

This set of resources will become editable upon conversion to Microsoft Word using an Adobe Acrobat Reader DC app.
