PK-1 Seasonal and Holiday Activities

This product contains resources for 15 different seasonal or holiday activities. Included are:

Fall Activities-Fall booklet, Fall worksheet, and pumpkin matching worksheet.4 different Turkey Math addition and Subtractions Puzzles

Chinese New Year Printable and Activities- These activities are a great supplement to a Chinese New Year Celebration or to accompany a read aloud like Sam and the Lucky Money. This product contains the following resources:

· A printable dragon mask the students can color. It can be cut out and attached to a stick headband, or tied on with elastic/string.

· A Chinese lantern coloring sheet.

· Two different dragon coloring sheets that have Happy New Year written in Chinese symbols.

· Printable envelopes that can be printed on red paper. They contain the Chinese symbol for good luck.

· Printable money for the red envelopes.

· A cutting template to make cutting Chinese lanterns easier for little hands.

Earth Day Booklet-  10 page booklet that students can use during shared or guided reading. Students can also color pictures and add a drawing of themselves caring for Earth. Just print the pages single sided, cut in half, lay top half of the pages over the bottom half of the pages, and staple.

Groundhog Day Stick Puppet and Worksheet- The groundhog puppet can be printed out on card stock. Cut out and attach a

stick or straw. Use a flashlight to create his shadow. Students can explore how to make the shadow change sizes or trace the shadow.

There is also a match the animal to its shadow worksheet in both color and B&W.

Mardi Gras Coloring- This product contains 5 coloring pages appropriate for use with Mardi Gras activities and celebrations. There are 2 different masks, a jester hat, and 2 different king cake coloring pages. The masks and hat can also be printed on card stock to cut out, decorate, and wear

St. Patrick’s Day Resources- Four St. Patrick’s Day themed coloring sheets and a pattern worksheet with key.

My Snowman at Night Booklet- a booklet students can use to write/draw about their own snowman's adventures at night.

Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Special Person Booklet-Students can make booklets for Mother's Day or Father's Day. Also included is a booklet with a blank for the name so any other special person can be recognized.
Just print the pages single sided, cut in half, lay top half of the pages over the bottom half of the pages, and staple.
All booklets follow the same format with pictures to color and room to draw and write.

Spring Activities- a Spring booklet, Spring worksheet, and animal matching worksheet

Valentine’s Day Printable Valentines- This resource consists of 16 printable Valentine’s Day cards in 8 different designs. Eight cards have sentence frames to complete on the back and eight cards have writing lines on the back. 

Valentine’s Day Booklet- Students can write and draw about people, places, or things that they care about.Lion or Lamb March Activities-

Summer Decodable Booklet and Activity- A 10 page booklet that students can use during shared or guided reading.Text format follows the pattern, "We can_____ in the summer". Sight words included are: we, the, summer, outside, like, to, do, what, you, go. The last page has a sentence frame added inside a box for an illustration that reads:

I like to __________ in the summer.

To assemble print the pages single sided, cut in half, lay top half of the pages over the bottom half of the pages and staple.

Also included are matching and fill in the blanks worksheets.

Winter Activities-This resource contains a Winter booklet, Winter worksheet, and snowman matching worksheet
