This Video Response Worksheet and Key is based on the BBC documentary series "Planet Earth - Episode 7: Great Plains."

(NOTE: These worksheets are based on the British version of Planet Earth [Season 1], narrated by David Attenborough. It uses the metric system and is, at the time of this posting, the version currently showing on Netflix and Amazon.)

Close on their heels come an array of plains predators including eagles, wolves and lions.

Flooded, burnt, baked and frozen - grass is almost indestructible, able to survive from the baking savannahs of Africa to the frozen tundra of the Arctic, from the floodplains of India to the high altitude steppes of the Tibetan plateau.
