Description

Thank you for your interest in

Presidents and other leaders on Paper money from

Happy Hive homeschooling / Homeschool Holiday.com.

Our products are designed to coordinate with fun holidays throughout the year. This packet is designed to accompany President's Day in February.

It also works well for US Paper Money day on March 10th.

The Files are meant to work together. These are the Companion Worksheets with the link to the Google slides presentation. The slide presentation is a fun history of US Money, it is not all encompassing . It simply focuses on a few fun, interesting facts for each bill.

Use the companion worksheet for note taking as learners follow along.

There are also 3 additional activities in the PDF packet you can use as follow up, or stand alone activities:

Design your own currency with a president/leader of your choice

YOU on the $1.00 bill &

an essay prompt for older students, or just for discussion!

May your Educational Journey Be$ RICHLY $Blessed!

    Presidents on Money

Posted by Nancy Balter on Jun 11th 2020

This is an engaging way to teach students US history. It capitalizes on student's natural interest in money to teach them important information and to act as a springboard to go further into the topic. The product focuses on high-interest, kid-friendly facts with such topics as the $2 bill, hidden gems, most-counterfeited bill, and the tooth fairy. The extra activities--like designing a new bill denomination and coming up with a reason their own image might one day be put on the $1--are lots of fun. Disclosure: I do not accept any payment for reviewing products from other Teacher Authors. I do receive the product being reviewed and provide my honest opinion about using the product with its intended audience.
