Reader's Theater: New World Explorers

Bring the voyages of the New World Explorers to life with this set of 3 Reader’s Theater scripts! Each play, focusing on Ferdinand Magellan, Henry Hudson, and the Vikings, features 3 different reading levels (12 scripts in all) to focus on differentiation. Each script contains 6-7 parts, making it a perfect activity for centers or leveled guided reading groups! Modified versions provide support in basic fluency skills, regular versions focus on expression development, and enriched versions challenge students with tier 2 vocabulary and figurative language components. This set helps integrate Social Studies history content with Language Arts common core standards in the areas of exploration, fluency & expression!
