I have taught for 15 years. The past 13 years as a 6th grade Social Studies teacher in south Texas. I began my career in South Korea as an ESL teacher for 2 years. I try to make my lessons super-engaging and fun for students, but also challenging and thought-provoking at the same time. I love to create Social Studies material that is enjoyable to learn and instills a love of knowledge in my students. I always follow a 5-E format (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate) to make sure my students are involved in their learning.
