The Black Death Compare and Contrast Primary Source Analysis

Students will analyze and compare and contrast 4 brief excerpts with different points of view on the plague of the Middle Ages (Black Death) and respond to 16 questions and tasks. The answers are included where appropriate and this would be great for a sub!

Sample questions include:
--What measures were taken to take action against the ravages of the plague?
--How did the plague cause wages to rise?
--Inferring from prior knowledge, why were Jews accused of being responsible for the plague? 
--Why would people have given credibility to confessions acquired under torture?
--Which source has the most historic credibility and why?
--Which source has the most contemporary credibility, and why?
