    Product Description

    In this lesson, created by Lori (Curriculum) Sheets, I offer two different textual interpretations (presentations) to the original excerpts of Washington’s speech in 1796. With the highly popular Hamilton musical as a way to engage students to the overall message from the country’s first president.

    This lesson should be completed in three sessions. Students read: song lyrics, excerpts from Washington's Farewell Address and then compare it to a modern language version.
