This activity is a quick one day set of stations to go over the Goliad Massacre, Battle of San Jacinto and the Treaty of Velasco.
The following stations are included:
Watch It! - Students will watch a quick YouTube video that covers all three events.
Explore It! - Students will read a few articles from the Treaty of Velasco (included) and write down four things the treaty made Santa Anna do.
Read It! - Students will read a passage (included) about the Goliad Massacre and ask a set of questions about it.
Illustrate It! - Students will use a map of Texas to pinpoint the location of the three events along with Houston, Austin and San Antonio.
Research It! - Students will use credible sources on the internet to answer a set of questions about the Battle of San Jacinto.
I use Publisher to create the worksheet, so if you want to edit questions, feel free to use mine as a model to create your own!
