This product has brought together 13 of our Science Wordsearches from our 13 of our Science based Escape Rooms. The Wordsearches introduce students to the vocabulary associated with each of the different science topics.

They are a great introduction to new study units, as well as ideal for home learning, early finishers and spelling challenges to embed the language into long-term memory.

The presentation of the Wordsearches vary too. Some are the traditional "find the words and cross the words off the list" variety, whereas others do not have vocabulary lists and students are provided with topic based questions, with the answers provided them with the vocabulary lists to find within the wordsearch. Others are also presented differently to engage students further, for example, the food groups wordsearch encourages students to color the foods in different colors linked to a key and the food group they belong to, therefore supporting their memories of which food belongs to which group.

Each of the Wordsearches also has an additional challenge - a missing word which the children must find which has not been included on the word list and is linked to the topic - which will take their learning further. The missing words are highlighted on the answer key in a different color to make it easy for the teacher to see and identify.
