Women of the Bible

A New Testament Bible Review Game

Have fun reviewing some of the women from the New Testament with this Women of the Bible Review Game. This activity works well for Sunday school classes and Christian classes studying women in the Bible or the New Testament.

There are 14 cards describing highlights of the each woman's life from the Bible. Included in the game are: Mary (Jesus' mother), Elizabeth, Martha, Mary (Lazarus' sister), Dorcas, Jairus' Daughter, Mary Magdalene, Eunice, Priscilla, Anna the Prophetess, Sapphira, Lydia, Rhoda, and Bernice. Each answer includes the corresponding Bible reference.

Here is an example card:

"I lived in Joppa and made clothes for the poor before I got sick and died. The disciple, Peter, came to visit and brought me back to life." (Answer: Dorcas, also known as Tabitha (Acts 9:36-42))

This is a great way to review women from the New Testament in the Bible. For an additional idea, make two copies of these cards and use it to play a matching game.

Another tip: I broke the kids into even groups (2-4 kids per group) and had them work together to identify who was listed on the card. When the first group got done, we went over the answers together.
