Art History Assignment - "The Museum Challenge"

Are you looking for new ways to motivate and engage your students in online and distancing education?

Have you heard about the "Museum Challenge" that is taking over social media?

In this activity, students are asked to select an iconic piece of art and replicate it using people and things from their home (perfect when they are social distancing and can't leave the house).

This is a perfect activity to add some fun and creativity to your online classrooms. There is a student instruction sheet with a variety of examples given to inspire their creativity.

This task was designed to be shorter in length to accommodate the distance learning most of us have as a reality these days (however it is still applicable to classroom learning as well). You can have your students post their pictures in your online classrooms or they can send them to you and you can create your own slide show online art gallery with their pictures.
