 Activating Strategies: Activate students’ prior knowledge. Using a variety of engaging strategies focused on activating prior knowledge sets students up  within a familiar context of what they currently know. 

Color-coded teacher task cards with six different activating strategies. Each strategy has a brief explanation, directions, space for your own notes, as well as a sample of how to incorporate the strategy within any content  area. (Sample lessons focus on one Reading and one Math lesson.) Simply Cut and Use.
