Description

This is a no-prep workbook on American abolitionists. It can be used as a bell workbooklet, but would also be suitable for sub plans, or for early finishers. One of my focuses when creating this was to ensure that students was improving student literacy through historical readings and a variety of writing prompts.

Although this is a perfect resource for Black history month, I feel like it's important to celebrate these individuals and their accomplishments throughout the year when learning about topics like Triangular trade, the slave trade, and the impacts of industrialization.

This product includes:
  • 14 Readings on the abolition movement and abolitionists
  • 15 Engaging activities and writing prompts including creating a newspaper article and creating a cartoon depicting the life of an abolitionist
