For kids to learn anything, they need to actually DO something with that learning! After teaching middle school for 15 years, I’ve learned that the only way we can be successful is to get students engaged, excited to learn, and involved in their own learning process. Even the hardest to reach kids are successful when they are having fun and have some control over their learning. My teaching generally focuses around finding innovative ways to incorporate technology as a learning tool, project based learning, differentiation, blended learning, and simulations
