Start the year with a fun and IMPRESSIVE Back-to-School night handout AND an easy way to measure language growth!

I designed this project as a way to get to know my students better, but it turned out to be so much more!

Students complete an “about me” template in Spanish via Google Slides™. Then, students record a FlipGrid™ speaking their responses!

Template includes:

name
birthday
origin
why they like their school
and space to answer several Spanish-2 level questions
a space for students to upload pictures
a space for a QR Code linking back to their FlipGrid™

This Resource Includes:

I love the digital approach to this activity! It was great for distance learning, but now I will also have it on-hand for my students to use in class with their tablets.

Until I get Maestra Michellle Products! I can't stop gushing over this. I wasn't even scared to use it with my students and lack of Spanish knowledge. Our little Home school was all over this! Save yourself time and just go buy everything she has!

I love that this came with instructions for an asynchronous lesson or a synchronous lesson. I also appreciated that there were even instructions for what to do after students had submitted their work.

This is an awesome way to get students speaking from the very start! The directions are very thorough and easy to follow. It would be great to have students look back on their presentations at the end of the year to see how much progress they’ve made!
