Description

This document contains 50 Science Video Worksheets. Each worksheet has a link to the corresponding video. Each is one page and has an answer key in a simple format (including digital, please see below) that is designed for quick correction. This multiple-worksheet document contains most but not all of our videos (we typically wait for feedback before adding individual worksheets into the multiple-worksheet document).

There is a wide variety of topics in this document. Some videos are intended for younger students (5th grade) while others are intended for older students (High School). Curriculums vary considerably among States and among districts, so some videos may be relevant for age ranges that are different than what we have indicated (we have classified each video's audience age based on NGSS and our knowledge of what is being taught in some States).

Here's a playlist on our YouTube channel that we designed for teachers. It shows 1-minute previews of some of our videos, of which some are in this set: 1 minute previews of science videos for teachers. - YouTube

Here's a short description (3 minutes) of the videos and worksheets: Intro to Science Video Worksheets. - YouTube.

This document provides the questions in paper and multiple digital formats, directly or via links to shared drives, which you can then download.

Digital formats may save teachers time correcting homework, identifying common errors, and entering individual scores into gradebooks -- and some can teach students by giving immediate feedback. The formats include:
  • Blackboard
  • Canvas
  • Google Forms
  • Microsoft Forms
  • Moodle
  • Respondus

We provide links to a shared folder which contains Google Slides that can be presented in class as a way to review the worksheet or shared electronically with students (e.g., downloaded as a PowerPoints and email, or share a link in your Google Drive). Here is a demonstration of how to get these formats: Science Video Worksheet Electronic Options: Blackboard, Canvas, Google Forms, MS Forms and more. - YouTube
